is there a Polish word as "ma"? if so, what does it mean?

there is, a slang from the word "moja" - "mine" as in "my wife"

translates to Krysia my ship

Ma comes from the verb mieć meaning to have too!

Ma=has - 3rd person singular present tense of mieć (to have)
Ma - obsolete form of "moja" (singular feminine of "my/mine")

yeah, for example: "Kowalskiego tu nie ma"
translates to "Kowalski here not have"

It also means something else as in this sentence: "Jego nie ma w domu" meaning "He's not at home"

Notice how the poster who posed the question seems not to have hung around long enough to get the more important answer.
