Globetrotter, I think you'll find Adam Malysz is unbeatable at the moment as he's just won 6 ski jumping competitions in the last fortnight including all 3 competitions at the Ski Flying in Planica (and he's not supposed to be a good ski flyer!) which means that he has won his 4th overall Ski jumping Workd Cup! Go Adam!!! Looking forward to seeing him at Zakopane in Jan 2008!
Just a shame that it was a one jump competition at Planica today but he still won!

I must admit I was very proud! Just wish I was in Planica celebrating with the 5000 Poles there, there'll be a lot of Wodka drunk now ....I would expect Kranska Gora to be packed out tonight, apparently Papa Joe's is the place to go there...as my niece and her bf currently live in Slovenia but right at the other end, they have asked whether we are up for going there next March, wouldn't it be great if Adam could win 5 World Cup titles!

I shall eat humble pie and not apple pie. In my pitiful defence I should point out that when I wrote the original post it was really a request to find out why he appeared to be struggling early in the season. He is a star. Grovel, grovel etc.

But I still think the moustache is a mistake.

Yours faithfully

I'm glad Szarlotka/Globetrotter, whatever your tag name is this week...! that we got that one sorted!
Anyway, you do have a point with the tache but my hubby is just as fascinated with his nose and says it's like a ski jump hill and maybe he bashed it falling down one but I think he is trying to wind me up!

Anyway, how much do these ski jumpers earn, does anyone know?

For sport itself not much, I doubt that even the best of them get more than average football player in the 2nd English leage, but they get much more from advertaisments.
