Hey all,

As I now live in Gdynia I am looking to offer Conversational Lessons. Not on a huge scale, just a couple hours per week if people want really. Where is best to advertise these lessons? Websites? Local Press?

Cheers

Griff

Websites? Local Press?

try both, you cannot hurt yourself by advertising in as many places as possible. Ask the locals. Check the local papers for similar adds/prices and competition.
If you need a short translation of your ad, put it on this site and somebody will help you.

Try rojmiasto.pl/ogloszenia
and post your advertisement in the "uczę języków" section (under the "NAUKA" heading).

A website called 'myngle.com' is where many teachers advertise their courses.

'myhappyplanet.com' is another place you could check out.

Then all and any website that is aimed at people with an interest in Poland/Polish.

Kracowlife.com
Gdansklife.com
I think there is a sub site for every major city under the blanket heading
Polish or Polandlife.com

Let me know if any of these are helpful.

You could always use the tried and true method of plastering a piece of paper on buildings and cross walk poles.
