Advertising for Electricians in Poland to work in the UK

I work for a large UK electrical testing company, and we currently wish to advertise for Electricians in Poland for work available within the UK, we intent to visit Poland and have an open for people interested in the vacancies.

DOes anyone know the best Newspaper in Poland in which to advertise the vacancy.

I know Radomsko very well. My wife went to school in Radomsko and much later on of the Polish painters who painted our building in Hampshire came from Radomsko, in fact his wife went to the same school as my wife did but in different years. Whilst we were there last time, we went to the cemetery (the new one), and there lies the remains of one of the London underground train bomb victims who was recognized through her D.N.A..

you want to be very careful about who you take on. We had a Polish electrician who nearly burnt down our house! In fact, after he finished his 'work', we had to employ a neighbour who is a qualified electrician to completely rewire the garage. In a word, it was a total mess!

I think you are lying about the Polish electrician who allegedly burnt down your house. (Regarding your intellectual capability, I doubt it if you own a house.)

You should hire qualified electrician from the beginning, not just people who says that they are electricians. It would save you a lot of money.

It is a problem of many Polish people who never were abroad or who are frustrated.
They don't accept themself and everything around them is bad, and everything abroad is perfect.

Just make a correction to everything they say or they write.
Read polish newspaper. Whatever is written there is written to show how wrong something was done. So people who read those, think that polish world is really so bad, because if it was written so in newspaper it must be true.

That thinking comes from old times when the only available newspaper always was showing "true" about wrong western imperial world.

It was not actually me who engaged him. They came to build a down stairs toilet and between them they did a good job. I imagine that later when asked if they can do something else, the thought of easy money tells them that if they simply try they will be able to. There isa Polish expression about having a 'zlota reka' and sometimes they take the meaning too far. I am sure that it happens everywhere all of the time that people when asked say that they can do something when money is involved-it is only later, that you see the results of the work!

does anyone know how an english electrician can work in Poland??? I have a partner from Wroclaw and shes teaching me the language. Any idea on what sparks can earn and do they have a sub-contractor system like in england??? being close to Germany and central to the rest of Europe i'd like to work around a bit but base myself in Poland.

why didn't you just hire your neighbour in the first place. If he's your neighbour you'll most likely be friends. He wouldn't have 'FIXED' your wiring if you weren't friends. And being friends, he would have done it cheap for you as i do for my friends, neighbours and even my landlord. but you must be either so tight that you thought you'd pay somone who offered to it for peanuts and therefore you get what you pay for. OR the polish electrician doesn't even exist and your talking out your back side. I agree with puzzler. why don't people stop bad mouthing the Polish and either visit the country or talk to them at work instead of slagging them off. You'd discover they are so friendly, hard working and that someone doesn't have to be Polish to be a bad electrician

I agree with you Tony, however, I would tend to assume that someone hiring migrant workers is doing so to get cheap labour.

Therefore a firm of electricians who is hiring on the cheap isn't exactly going to be that bothered about their qualifications are they ?

There is good and bad in any industry, however, it's a bit of a kick in the spuds to British electricians who want the work to be passed over in favour of a cheaper foreign alternative.

Powerplus should be offering her jobs to the electricians who already live in Britain first.

Or taking on apprentices that might actually still be in this country in 5 years time,cheap tight barsterds.
