America a Racist nation? My answer is YES

there's racism and racists and all forms of discrimination in virtually every country on the planet..even in societies where most of the people belong to one race .... there will be some people there with racist attitutes towards foreigners..
.. just another fact of life...

I think we all know what a minority is in the U.S. and being poor isn't it.

There's a big difference between being poor and being banned from college because of your race.

The only reason I brought up the point was not to say that it's right to live on welfare but because you said in 35 years you've never seen discrimmination. But within the past 35 years there has existed serious discrimmination against certain races. It was not always so simple to just "get a job".

Today is a different story. Today we have equal opportunities and people can choose their fate. But in some cases, parents actually teach their kids that they are not capable of achieving more. Like you said, your parents were instrumental in your success.

Yea the most racist country (along with Russia :). Reason being, because this is the place where all other people of the world come together, and it causes nothing but problems, and has for 200 years. And FL is one of the sissy states, but the rest of the south is very strong to how they feel. The KKK started there, although it has surpressed in #'s over the years, russia has picked up on it now. And its the same on all sides. Multiculturism=Destruction. Most people do not like being all mixed up, but almost just as many people are afraid to say so. You would be surpized how average people Really felt...

..or it could be the tryouts for the 200m race for the next Olympics..

I cant say that it really does.. But it has a lot of truth in it.
I am a business man in Florida.. My top foreman is black.
He is a good man.. He has a wonderful family. But he is somebody that I entrusted to ride herd on the other help.

Now.. Do we socialize? No. He has his life and I have mine.

You are saying: well, if you don't understand what I am saying, that is your problem. Well, in a mature discussion it is not. If you are contributing something, you need to clerify things up when people don't understand. You refused to do it. For me it is kind of childish really when one refuses to be clear when talking about something. It signifies weakness and luck of flexibility really.

Franek...have you lived in the south your enitre life? I know many people in N. Florida and they seem to have similar views. I've lived in one of the most rural areas in Florida and the difference in the minorities from NY to FL is significant.
