Well of course America is racist, but by racist we should mean preoccupied with race, whether it be for good or bad. Come on most of you know the general outlines of American history, race has been Americas Albatross from the start.

And of course brits hate on America, most of the world hates on America, because there's a lot to hate about it, namely the fact that it's telling everyone how to live when we ourselves have a long way to go, but also people are talking about America all the time because it's the hottest sh*t on planet earth right now.

So all that said America still does kick ass and in fact does so on a daily basis on almost all fronts, not just war and finance, but in the arts, entertainment, fashion (kinda) science and technology(kinda.) So multiculturalism and its discontents have apparently done nothing to hinder the growth of the most powerful sovereign state of all time.

Agreed. But anyone who is successful in their chosen field is never loved by one and all. I think Americans want to be loved and have a hard time accepting that they're not universally adored.

In WW2, we were called. Those bloody Yanks. They are overpaid, over sexed, and over here. But they had a good point..All of the young British men were sent off to war as cannon fodder.We, the American GI's were sent over to help them.. Britain was over run with Americans..The young Brits were off to do battle, and we were replacing them with our chocolates, cigarettes, nylon hose and other goodies..
But after a short stay training, we too were sent into battle.
During my short stay in Britain, we were treated with VIP treatment. By the Brits.
On the other hand.. No matter what the Politics we came to each others aid. Korea, Vietnam, Falkland islands.. ( We the Americans supplied the Brits with Missiles, and submarine detectors) And of course, there is that nightmare IRAQ.
So the moral of my story is.. When the chips are down.. We will be there for each other.. AMEN
