Another girl murdered in uk

19 year old Lidia aleksandra motylska from Poland who was working in Leeds UK as a waitress was found brutally murdered....As yet nobody has been charged with this crime.....Lidia had only been in the Uk for a few months , and was living there with her mother....I feel such sorrow for her family.....Another young life taken away......You can read about this terrible event by looking at yorshire post newspapers...

It sounds like a tragic story, but without knowing what happened, all I can say is condolences to her friends and family, and I hope whoever carried out this murder gets caught and punished. May she rest in peace.

Every time i hear of a brutal murder i think of question tossed about daily, should we bring back capital punishment, seeing this like this makes me feel 'YES' we should

It was around 6.30pm in the evening when it happened , perhaps she was on her way home from work....The place where it happened was a dimly lit alleyway , perhaps not the best place for a young woman to be walking alone.....I just wonder if she was from some quiet Polish village where it is probably safe to walk alone in such places , sadly in many cities around the world it just isn,t safe to do this...I am sure the police will soon catch the person responsible , but that won,t bring her back to her family.....Cities are good places to earn money , but they are not always good places to live...This girl like the other girl who was murdred in Leeds was living in one one the less desirable area,s of the city....Unfortunatly many Polish workers end up living in these kind of places because its cheaper , or because they have friends already living there...Leeds was my home for twenty years , and i was lucky to live in a nice area....My small house became home to eight Polish workers that i had to rescue from a dangerous situation in the same area where this girl was killed....Go to the UK girls , make your money , but for gods sake be carefull , come back home in one piece........

My thoughts are with her family and I hope that the guy they have got serves a very long time behind bars!

this si britian.. what a great place it is..............where there is no respect for humans especailly a young lady who had so much to live for... thats unfair on her, on her family and her community...

a life for a life.. but as we knwo the british legal system has idiota there...

i think there should be a protest about this,, this is another tragedy involving people from poland and we need to get together and do soemthing about it...

Please lets not make too much of the fact she was a Polish girl who was killed in Uk , possibly by an English person.....Whats important is that she was a young girl murdered in a strange country a long way from home....She was not killed because she was Polish , she just happened to meet a scumbag who killed her....I made the first posting in the hope it would make Polish girls heading to the UK a liitle bit carefull in a strange city a long way from home , and not to fuel the anti British feelings of some Polish people......I am an English man who was quite happy to have eight Polish people living in my house in UK , most English people i knew were quite happy about Polish people living and working in the UK.....Posting anti British comments on here is not doing any favours for the Poles who are in the UK....Most get on just fine with the Brits , don,t spoil it.......

its understandable that you might feel disraught jarek but to suggest the british have no respect for humans is just a tad on the silly side, especially as amnesty international, the world leader in promoting human rights, was founded by brits

crime in the uk is an every day occurance and violence frequently plays an unfortunate part of this. it is hardly suprising, given the number of poles that have entered britain in recent years, that some of them experience the impact of crime whilst here, occasionally with tragic results.

you would do well to remember that poles, as with all other immigrants, are guests in the uk. whilst polish custom holds that a guest is god in your house this is not the same in the uk . guests, whilst welcome, are expected to behave as such - nobody wants a guest that causes upset, regardless of who they are or where they are from... is there not another polish saying that claims a guest after 3 days begins to smell...?

i would disagree, the britsh have a cultural trait that is distinct tto them and i beleive it is part of their socialisation process.. they are the first to moan and complain at others... but when it comes down to them they become defensivce and turn the tables...

this murder is not a polish or russian or british agenda.. its soemthing all of the uk public. regardless of gender, class, religion, occupation, need to address, i apologise if i blamed england, this was not my intention, i only wanted to highlight the immense problems becasue on the one hand it is regarded as the most civiised society and brtian interfers in many other nations business but when there is an issue in brtiiain we do not adress it appropriately..

in the uk we have many people working tirelessly in the fight against crime, and in support of those who have suffered at the hands of criminals... if you really want to contribute why not volunteer for victim support or some other organisation

This was a tempory measure after i rescued these Poles from a dodgy landlord that had used a gang to commit violence against the Poles.....I managed to find a safe place for half of them....Some of them remained living with me.....The first few days we were a bit crowded out , but they were nice people , i had to help....Before anyone asks.....the dodgy landlord was a Kurd living illegally in UK......

Can everyone remembe this is a thread about the death of an inocent girl - who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and I very much doubt her nationality had anything to do with her death.
