"This is a Treasure Saved
It is ironic that The Polish Army Orchestra, recorded this version a few months before they exterminated the Jewish survivors who returned to Poland after the Holocaust."

http://savethemusic.com/yiddish/bin/music.cgi?Page=zognitkeynmol&Singe rbio=zog_polisharmy

The picture on the left is marked with a "Polish army" tag while the actual image contains: "Red Army". Can anyone cite a reputable unbiased historical text to confirm the statement on that page? Or maybe the webmaster confused "Red Army" with Polish Army?

"Polish" Army

Thanks :).

It doesn't look factual to me... Red Army = Soviet Army, not Polish.

why would an orchestra be involved in exterminating anyone? what are they meant to have done, thrown wood wind instruments at people in a violent manner? Sounds like unsubstantiated tosh to me.

Well, once one of Israeli PMs said that "Poles suck anti-Semitism with their mothers’ milk". Sometimes It looks like It is the other way around, so I would be very careful about anything from "Jewish sources" but of course that's not completely impossible.

I never heard of Polish doing this thing sorry - the truth was twisted around to make it look bad on Poland, only because it happen in Poland, so they twist the truth around.

The plan was to exterminate all the Polish who looked too dark in favor of the white aryan look - Bond hair, blue eyes, white pale skin.

anyone who resembled anything darker was threatening to this image. The Poland was to destroy all of Poland also. Recently it was found that Hitler had signed a contract, which stated to wipe out ALL of Poland.
