Anyone been to Zakopane?

There is a bus station at the back of Krakow train station from
which buses go to Zakopane frequently. It takes a round 2 hours
becuase of road works. Cost is 15zl (approx £3)

or taxi - lots of taxi drivers offering drive to Zakopane. They charge
around 150zl (£30)

train also goes to Zak but very slow (4 hours) not direct

thanks on that ogorek think i would go by the bus route and see the journey etc on route there :)

Bloody hell, why would any sane woman want to go shopping with mountains like that to board down..??? Unless of course it's to buy some new boarding gear ;0)

Hey, instead of heading back to Poznan we are now visiting Zakopane.

Has anyone been there before or even live there?

Any feedback on whats it like? i hear and it looks great tho :)

and my main question would be,

Whats the best company to fly to Poland with?
