It's off topic but i read about him in Pascal guidebook when i first time came to DK. Paradox is that Poles think he was Polish, Danes that he was Danish... Also Norway, Sweden, Portugal want him ;). I don't want to write redundant things here so if you think it's interesting find on google :P

Okay i found it in Wikipedia, interesting story ;) so Polish, Danish, Norwegian, German...Portuguese... :p maybe Dutch LoL

LoL ;) It reminds me of another story : Count Maurycy Beniowski, he was a sailor/pirate, apparently born in Poland and claimed himself as Polish. But Hungary wants him...as another country but i don't remember which one...he pronounced himself "King of Madagascar" :p LoL

Never heard about him before or probably just don't remember. Pirates stories are boys stuff ;). But I'm inquisive too (Google rulez). Third country is Slovakia. What I found interesting is that probably Mauritius was named after Beniowski. Lol :P

That's what they say (about Mauritius), i looked for it, and it's said that Mauritius was named after a Dutch sailor... LoL

LoL ;) if you look in Wikipedia "Sillings" you will see that they gave their name to the Polish region, Silesia...don't know if it's true :p

Men jeg kan forstaa alting, som du har skrivit aa kan laese norske aviser uten problem. Har du ogsaa vaert i Polen? Jeg kenner Szczecin.
