hey Maya left you a message re work lol before i saw this posting

Doncaster is quite large for a town we have some 280,000 population which is multi-cultural which you will have noticed we are a roman town and still have alot of roman history and sites about and Doncaster comes from the name Danvm ...

I know its hard to learn hun the polish language ... but i have a belief in me from my dad before he died he always told me i had the determination to succeed in anything i put my mind to and i really am trying with polish ... maybe i can help a little with your english

i have added you to GG and msn and sent you offline messages to tell you its me

I have lost contact with alot of my polish friends these past few months as many have gone back to poland or moved from Doncaster so making new friends is always a plus to me

If i have translated correctly :

Quoting: Maya, Post #8
Co Ty robisz na codzien?

means what you doing everyday?

Quoting: Maya, Post #8
Pracujesz? Uczysz sie?

means Work? Learning?

Quoting: Maya, Post #8
Opowiedz cos o sobie?

means tell something about yourself?

Quoting: Maya, Post #8
ktora jest godzina

means Whats the time?

Would i be right with my translation of these

ps. Jaki jest Twoj numer gadugadu... means What is your gadugadu number? Please. If you can write on my 5313195, if you don't mind.

correct answers: Co Ty robisz na codzien? = what are you doing everyday?
Pracujesz? Uczysz sie? = Do you work? Do you Learn?
Opowiedz cos o sobie? = tell something about yourself?
ktora jest godzina = What's the time?
Finnaly, your Polish is absolutely great
To be honest, I'd like to come and see this Polish lesson at Collegue. As far as I know it's on Thursdays evening, so mayby one day.... we will see each other
but nowadays I'm a bit busy with my English...

dzeki hun ... i seem to be getting there on the written side more than the verbal side hopefully in time this will improve also ... i do get odd things incorrect as i still have to try to learn not to write the polish in the same way as in english
but i managed to write with Pete last night on GG in polish and he only in english the only time i wrote in english was to correct any grammar errors with english but i did well -- i have to translate the polish into english then vice versa into polish but i will get there

the main problem with second language learning is that we usually transfer our first language grammar constructions into second language but i really admire people who learn polish it must be dificult especially cause u dont have "przypadki" in english i don't know how i would explain to an english person what "przypadek" in polish grammar is good luck with learning my gg number is 4876254 if u have any problem u can write and i will try to help
