Anyone interested in Surrogacy???

Hello there

I live in the UK. There are many couples who want to have children but sadly are unable to carry a baby themselves, therefore they look for a Surrogate Mother.

A Surrogate Mother carries a child for the couple & then hands it over at the birth.
It is NOT selling a baby as it is illegal to charge money for doing this. However 'expenses' are paid to the Surrogate Mother, this can be anything from £10,000 to over £25,000.

Is this popular in Poland? I know that there are lots of couples travelling to Poland from the UK for treatment such as IVF and donor eggs. I was recently reading about a company that arranges this just the other day.

I read lots about people travelling to Poland from the UK for fertility treatment too, that is what brought me here as I was wondering whether anyone was interested in Surrogacy.
I'm interested in sharing stories with other Surrogates or I'm willing to give as much information as I can to anyone that is looking in to it at the moment.

I was interviewed by the Real People magazine regarding Surrogacy & my story was in one of the January editions.
Channel 4 are hoping to do a documentary about Surrogacy, they will be following the life's of 3 Surrogates & the couple's they are helping. Hopefully this will raise awareness.
The organisation I am with (miraclesdohappen.co.uk) are helping channel 4 with their research so as they can get funding.
I'll post more about it when I know more.
