Anyone in Krakow has an ipod charger?

This may be a bit random but I thought I'd give it a try.

I need an ipod external charger to charge my ipod. I've only got the UK plug with me.

I normally charge my ipod via my iMac (which is not with me in Krakow). Yesterday, my ipod's batteries died so I tried to reformat/restore so it'll charge via my PC laptop (I've transferred all music already). However, after the ipod restored itself, it seems I have to recharge ipod via external charger first. I've not done this reformatting before so really hoping that once the ipod has recharged via external charger, it will allow me to sync to laptop and recharge via laptop.

Are you in Krakow near Kazimierz? Do you have an ipod charger you don't mind me connecting to for a few hours? Drinks and food on me?

You could try to look around for an adapter for British plugs in shops with electronic equipment. I bought one for myself nae bother.

I have 5 adapters! They're easy to find - I had help from my Polish flatmate - in most computer electrical shops.

All sorted with the ipod charger - I just needed it once as I don't understand why apple don't let you charge via laptop once restored. Now it does so it's working perfectly.

Thanks inkrakow, it's pretty rare to find someone so trusting of a total stranger. I really hope you got the texts I sent and that you get it where I left it for you. You're an angel. Let's meet up soon.

Well lonely you have reached that age where technology has left you behind - just switch on the wireless, you'll be fine with that :)

I guess I feel the same way. I rather read a good novel than any manual for electronics - we all know what they are like.
