I am currently looking for a job in USA as i am living there soon, but i need a kick start in getting there. i will do almost any job to get my visa. i know it sounds deperate, but its desparate times for me. someone give me a chance. Don't give up though :) My gf was unlucky at first too. There are some programs that can lead you to places like the Grand Canyon to work. You may need to try earlier in the year though. Have you been to any travel agancys in PL to ask about this? I know getting some info in PL is like pulling teeth, but keep trying. I'll keep my eyes out for you.

It is not difficult for British nationals to find manual work in the States, do you have a criminal record or a drugs problem?

Done properly you could probably Work your way across the Usa.
It may not be much. but it could get you start.
