Apartment in Warsaw (centrum), looking to buy.

I'm looking to buy a apartment i Warsaw ,but how is the pricelevel for a decent 1 bedroom flat? It should be in the centrum of Warsaw.

Hi, average cost of 1 square meter in the centre is around 12000 PLN (around 3200 euro). So 1 bedroom apartment would cost around 500000 PLN. Of course if you would like sth special Old Town etc - it would be more. If you are ready to buy a flat in old building from communist times - it would be less

...when I went to warsaw (some time ago( I stayed at my friends apartment. It was a tram ride to get to it, some distance.....and they were like concrete blocks. Lovely inside her apartment but a bit stark outside. Are those the sorts of apartments you mean ?
