Did Ukraine really "steal" Polish land?

Shouting or using the whip?

Both, those lazy Ukrainians are just no good if you dont whip 'em a few.

next best things will be EU in the eyes of most Belarussians and Ukrainians and not Poland - an educated guess

If EU would be interested, EU doesnt give a sh*t and will not do so in the future, plus it doesnt really have money to spare to resuscitate economies that deep down.

We could stabilize the region and make Slo and Nathan work as serfs on my farm, i'd ride around on a huge white horse shouting "faster you peasants".

oh, so now you going to solve the Ukraine economic problems, although many other Poles have failed in the past - they just wanted to exploit it.

Silly goose. It is nice to live in a dream world of yours, isn't it.

aphrodisiac

I think he's gay - the metaphore of him riding on a white horse is a rather symbolic hint he gives to this effect.

:)

Hm, it should be time that, no matter what how bad the economic sit in the Ukraine may be, ppl accept the fact that it's a sovereign nation, not just something that was stolen from Poland and made somehow independent. Ppl should respect that. They expect others to respect PL's independency, so they should do the same with the Ukraine's independency. Or is this a different case?

Oh thats easy, just kill enough people untill there's jobs for everybody! God you're dumb you cant read sarcasm when it slaps you in the face.

I think he's gay

I think you dont think, ever :)

not just something that was stolen from Poland

Quite a lot of Ukraine is exactly that, something stolen from Poland and made independent, however we recognize the nature of the situation and respect their sovereign existence, even if its on what was our lands.

Nope, gives me a headache. So I try to avoid it as much as I can. You, on the other hand, are a living proof that babies who are born without brain are perfectly capable of survival.

Sounds to me like Molotov's "Poland, this monstrous bastard of the Treaty of Versailles".
Ukraine is facing some hard times in sense of economy and politics today but your conclusion goes too far.

A purely theoretical situation, we get Lwów back, now i have a couple of question, what would you assuming you're in power do with the local Ukrainian population, who would you settle Lwów with and how would you deal with our economy being weighed down with annexing such a large and extremely poor region?

Well, in the beginning you owned sh'it as Poles were late comer to these lands after Celts and Germanics! You stole it first!
See? Just in case you missed history class....no Poles, but Germans where now is Poland.

where do you get from, which century? Even in the time of Charl the Great it was spoken of slaves in the East. Germans did not exist in the 8 century in this region- so we can't speak of Germans in this time neither German country. 846 Verdun we can't speak about gemans neither.

Bratwurst Boy:
in these lands it's both, Poles and Germans.

it seems Awaren and Longobarden were Germans too, nice. Who was Charl the Great? Germans claim to bee German karl der Grosse, French to be French Charlemagne, maby he's English or Celtic- Charl the Great. Maby his ancestors were Egyptians or Jews? Posen was allways polish. Thanks big countries like England France USA and Sovjets the history was as it was. Wartegau or Great Poland fought for its independence on its own. Thous big countries wouldn't have given a sh##t to do anything for Poland. They have shown how much they care about Poland :pushing us to the war and then left us on our own and finaly sold in Jalta.

Yup

where do you get from, which century?

From before the Slavs wandered in from the East...just google european history!

Who was Charl the Great?

Karl der Große was the leader of a federation of germanic tribes, the Franks (meaning in german the free people).
They came from what is now Germany and conquered in the end all what is now Germany, France and northern Italy...the first Reich!
His capital was Aachen.
He was one of the most influential people in Europe ever (Franks - France). The French and English call him Charlemagne.

Don't trust everything what in google is, I see your knowledge is based only on google it means it is superficial in this case, maby not only in this one. Tell me were there German language in this time?. Read for exampel Hildebrandslied in old German which century is dated and then give some statemants. Sorry for my English I started to learn it just 18 mths ago, but I speak fluant German and Polish so I can read books not google in native languages.

The Slavs came later to Balkans about the 6th-7th century but they were accepted largely because they were peaceful nomads.(no relation to Hunnes,Goths,Avaroi, what we had to endure).

You give more and more the impression of a true bimbo: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlemagne

Charlemagne (pronounced /ˈʃɑrlɨmeɪn/; Latin: Carolus Magnus or Karolus Magnus, meaning Charles the Great) (2 April 742 - 28 January 814) was King of the Franks from 768 to his death. He expanded the Frankish kingdoms into a Frankish Empire that incorporated much of Western and Central Europe.

and now: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franks

The Franks or Frankish people (Latin: Franci or gens Francorum) were a West Germanic tribal confederation first attested in the 3rd century as living north and east of the Lower Rhine River.

And just for you: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aachen_Cathedral

Aachen Cathedral, frequently referred to as the "Imperial Cathedral" (in German: Kaiserdom), is a Roman Catholic church in Aachen, Germany. The church is the oldest cathedral in northern Europe and was known as the "Royal Church of St. Mary at Aachen" during the Middle Ages. For 600 years, from 936 to 1531, the Aachen chapel was the church of coronation for 30 German kings and 12 queens.

Charles the Great (Charlemagne) began the construction of the Palatine Chapel around 792, along with the building of the rest of the palace structures.[1]

Final Resting Place of Charlemagne. When he died in 814, he was buried in a vault in the cathedral.

Maybe you have problems to understand and interpret words and letters??? Poor guy...

The capital of the Franks' kingdom under the Carolingians, now in western Germany. In the 790s Charlemagne built a marble palace for administrative and religious functions. Aachen was a center of artistic and cultural patronage in the first half of the 9th century.

What made it to the first capital of the new holy roman Empire!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Aachen

The Palace of Aachen was a group of buildings with residential, political and religious purposes chosen by Charlemagne to be the center of power of the Carolingian State. The palace was located at the north of the current city of Aachen, today in the Western German Land of North Rhine-Westphalia. Most of the Carolingian palace was built in the 790s but the works went on until Charlemagne's death in 814.

The Germanics lived in these places long before the Slavs came.Goths(Wisigoths,Ostrogoths) were known from roman times. There were the Allemans, the Germans etc,but alll of them must have belonged to the same germanic race. These different names I think caused the wide range of Germany names today in different countries(Germania,Allemania,Nemecko etc).

Of course the Goths came to regions formerly inhabited by Celts after pressure from Hunns who were pressed by the Chinese who were pressed by the Mongols.

The Germanic tribes like to wander...some east, some west, some south.
Those tribes who made the first contact in the territories gave the name to the whole people.

Allemanns for example was another tribes confederation like the Franks. Where Franks means "free", Allemanns (or Allemande, Allemannos, Allemanya etc.) means just "Alle Männer" (All Men).

In the beginning there were only tiny scattered tribes...now we have a big, unified Germany...but the tiny tribes are still there, inside the federations...that is the reason for the diversity and independence of the regions inside of Germany.

Roman historians gave them these names(probably they could not understand what these names meant) and these names survived to us.
Slavs was a name given by byzantine historians first time in 7th century to describe tribes who called themselves like that and had just appeared in byzantine borders.

I don't understand why you insist. This case is lost for you.Germanics were western of Vistula before the Slavs came.Basically lots of land must have been empty at that time because Germanics had already emigrated in mass to west and south due to threat of Hunns. The same happened in balkans where the Hunns deserted the place and then the Slavs came in to fill the gaps.

Roman historians gave them these names(probably they could not understand what these names meant) and these names survived to us.

Not all....

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_Germany

Most of those names came from the first contact with the tribes or the tribes federations, not from the Romans.

Yeah...must be the fault of the german concentration camps that Bimbo can't get his facts together...

Would you like it better if I ask another board member to present the facts to you? A Pole maybe? What about a Jew? I could ask M-G to tell you about the Franks and Aachen....(after I told him what to say of course)....

Well...I can't help it!

Typical German, nation which didn't know what happened in the concentration camps, they were "unaware" that ther were murdered millions, but they wer fully aware that German government killed their own ppl - mental ill ,and they have protested to stopp it. That is your Verlogenheit
