i think you have never been to other countries. countries of Eastern Europe (Russia, Ukraine) ,Hungary and Czech Republic seem to have manyyyy more prostitutes.in Prague i saw them everywhere.

i don't know maybe it depends on the city as well but in Szczecin i saw none.
i will walk around Krakow to check it.

I don't think prostitution is a bigger problem here in Poland than in most other European countries.

Many polish girls also ''work'' in Germany and in other countries.However I have to admit that the vast majority of polish women seek normal jobs and try to avoid prostitution while with the russian and ukrainian girls the exact opposite is the case.Almost all the young ones(from the latter country) start by engaging in some form of prostitution.

That is why embassies in Ukraine refuse to give visas to young girls to visit western countries as tourists and they let only the elderly ones.Sh1t.

Or another way of saying that could be, poorer women have fewer options, especially when they work illegally in the E.U.

If I am not wrong, some girls are being used as prostitutes by so called serious companies to make them business connections and profit for company. Seems to be mutual benefits. No, company makes more profit and generates new prostitutes. Women everywhere think clever and smart, but, they are abused and exploited everywhere. Sorry, women. Just a truth. The general answer to your question is that there is a correlation between the number of prostitutes and the economical situation in a country. Especially in Europe this is obvious. The more poor women the more prostitutes.

It is a total rubbish statement that Poland has the greatest number of prostitutes in the world/Europe!

This is a contradiction of Europe mentality.

There was this boy (see closed thread below) who says he is muslim and loves a polish girl and came here and said somethings like europian girls are prostitutes and such things.

Suddenly, he attracted offenses (or defense?) from community here. Community here defensed by using concepts "freedom in sex", "civilization", etc.

Now, I read in this thread being prostitute isnt good for Europians either.

For Europian society in particular, western society in general, being prostitute is a good thing or bad thing? (my feel: it is not.)

(btw, such things are not less in muslim communities, either. They just do behind doors, things stay invisible in closed societies.)

In PL, a prostitue is not a respectable profession at all. In PL if you are a prostitute you do it behing closed doors, as you called it. You hide it and you are doing anything it takes so that people don't know you are a prostitute.
