I will be in Poland for a few months next year. I'm trying to determine what paperwork is necessary to stay and work there for a few months. I hold an Australian Passport. Do I have to apply for a visa? Any accurate information will be helpful.

I think that you may stay only 3 months without a visa.

I have done a lot of research into visa requirements for Poland. And I believe the same applies to Australia as it does to the US. If you don't have visa, you may stay for up to 90 days, but cannot work. In order to work in Poland you must have work permit. In order to get a work permit, you must find a job first and have the employer apply for the work permit.

Wow. I'm surprised. I could understand if you had been there for over a year and were just hiding out and keeping a low profile. But actually going in and out of the country? I think you're asking for serious trouble. One day they will catch you and probably ban you from entering Poland again. By the way, do you work there in Poland?

hi ya, im an aussie, and i've read that you can stay for 90 days with no visa. but if you want to stay longer you can get an invitation from a family, school or work for a stay of a minimum of 1 year. i've been looking on the following sites southtravels.com, visahq.com.
