Cost of text messages in poland

so if i am in america is it possible to send a text message all the way in poland? does it cost more money?! and how much money does it cost for text messages in poland?!

I think text messages in Poland is free; that's why you see so many people "sms-ing". Yes, it's possible to send an sms to Poland -- it may cost slightly more than inland but it's just pennies per sms.

if you have cingular it goes like this, if you have a text message plan, any international text counts as two texts. If you do not have a plan, every domestic text is 10 cents and international is 20 cents. It Poland Smsi NIE SOM ZADARMO. They cost VERY cheap however in poland domestic texts is like 3 groszy...whereas a text to the US from poland costs my gf 20 groszy!

I send them to my friend there all the time. You need to check with your cell phone carrier to see if it's available and what if any extra cost is involved. You probably need to know the country code and all as well.

o0o ok... because i have verizon and it SUCKS but i don't mind how much it costs me i just don't want to cause her any harm on her cell phone bill

Verizon is horrible!! You can't even take it to europe. They need to get with the times. Cingular is the way to go.
