Paperwork needed when moving to Poland...

romber58   May 11, 07, 09:59 /  #
I am an E.C citizen(english),and have lived in France and Germany for many years.
My question is if there are any special bits of paper that the system in Poland requires...My experience has been that despite the E.U,each country has its own burocracy..I would be very grateful for info...I live in Berlin and am going to Poland at the beginning of July..

Sorry romber I can't give you advice about permanent residency. In theory there should be no problems moving to another EU country. I can only point you at the British Embassy site for Poland. No doubt others will have more information for you. Sorry

You will find yourself going from one building to the next so put lots of petrol in the car or buy a travel card. Every office has a queue, which could add an hour on to each visit. Whichever office you go to......do it before 14:00. You might need a partner to stand in one queue while you stand in another.
