I have a Polish-English translation program, but it doesn't recognize Polish characters. Does anyone know how to solve this? Maybe it's the fault of my Windows XP? But PowerPoint, etc do have Polish letters... I don't understand it!

Eeeeerrr. Insufficient information. What version of WindowsXP you have? How is your keyboard configured? What font is your translation program using? Are there any keyboard settings in your translation program? Have you tried to find answers in your translation program's manual/help? etc...

Thank you very much for your reply! :) I have Windows XP, Home Edition, 2002, Service Pack 2. I bought my laptop in Spain and it has a Spanish keyboard (even though I'm not Spanish but Dutch - but anyhow, that's not relevant, I guess ;) I use "English Translator 3". I tried to change the font as it was set, but also with Times New Roman... already when I copy-paste text from Internet in the translation area, it changes the signs, actually... No, no answers in the manual. Also I tried to download some Polish fonts from Internet and looked for explanations, but I it did not help.
