PC Polish Windows Question

Hi,

My Polish friend has a Polish version of Windows which is about to expire and I need to help him. He says in Poland he calls a number to register but here in England we don't do that.

I was going to look at downloading a copy for him but am I just looking for Windows with a Polish language or does it have to be a specific version of Polish Windows?

There is a special Polish Windows version. Why can`t he call the Microsoft service in Poland ?
