Perhaps this might explain how Poland is being rewarded by the US gov for its "help".

White Red Black Hawk
January 11, 2007

American producer of army helicopters has bought the biggest Polish aviation maker PZL Mielec. Sikorski Aircraft, part of United Technologies Corporation, will pay PLN 250m for all the Mielec shares and investments there. They will be producing the legendary Black Hawk army helicopter down there.

Bubba they are propsing a US missile in Poland to complement the radar set up in the Czech republic. If these two plans go forward both will boost the local economies near which they are situated. Obviously the downside is they become targets. But the questions target for whom?
The advantages for the US to have missile bases in Poland, is A) heighten tensions with Moscow b) Alot closer to the middle east than USA.

The benefits for the host countries will be more loans from the World bank and job creation within the two countries armament industries. With the added bonus of putting French and German noses out of joint.
Bush maybe dumb, but the planners behind him know well what they are doing.

It will however, raise the "terrorist threat" in Poland and Cezch Republic, which play into their hands and new created issues of "homeland security".

As the Rasta refer to it, it all politrickery

u sure?...I think Poles should be more confident about themselves, and not allow their land to be used like that. We can be successful without them!.... USA and Terror... usually walk hand in hand!...

Terrorism is not a polish problem and for now all what US do is support terrorism.

And question: how can be (much) closer than inside WTC?

They can make some damages (and I think they will) but they are not abble to destroy USA. And the US problems with terrorism has ground in the us foreign policy. Do you remember that CIA trained osama & company to do what they are doing now? That CIA paid him?

Who gaved Saddam a chemical weapon? USA sold it, George Bush sr supported it. Is giving a weapon of mass destruction to the mass murder is good for freedom and democracy? IS this a part of American dream or american way of life?

And one more thing when the WTC collapsed in this time in Sudan (Darfur) was dying THOUSANDS of humans every day for months. Did you knew that?

Sir, Canada, Australia, Poland, Britain, the U.S. and the...hrm...U.N. are leading the war against Islamic extremists and terrorists.

Not really. The U.S. and the rest of the West gave money and weapons to Osama during the Afghanostan-Russian War. After all, communism was a much greater threat then. BTW, the U.S. Canada, and Britain led they way against Communism, which the rest of the World said "couldn't be defeated." I don't see "U.S.S.R." on the map on that big mass of land above China, do you?

If you give someone weapon, money and military training it's good to know who this preson is. Osama and Saddam was a USA allies. Withpout US suppert they will be nobody.
If US want to support his own enemies thats US business.

Good talk but USSR is not the issue here. I was asking:Is giving a weapon of mass destruction to the mass murder is good for freedom and democracy? IS this a part of American dream or american way of life?

Middles East has supported a lot of the finances, its a very rich country!

The battle against terrorism is a daily thing in the UK about 2 miles from where I live houses were raided a couple of months ago and then again a house was raided two days ago, this battle is on my doorstep and I believe that our government is actually getting its finger out.

As for the bases in Poland why not? These things help the economy.

That's why I don't want ameriacan bases with american soldiers in my country. If you are sick I want to help you, but helping doesen't mean that I want to be infacted.

You cannot compare a Russian base with an American base. I understand that you are Polish and do not want this kind of thing on your doorstep, but its better to be included than excluded.

Terrorism is a global thing and its not going away.

Superpower is superpower. Superpower have not friends only interests. US global problems are not polish concern. And one thing: base is not against terrorists (Army is useless against terrorism)- they are against other countrys- Korea, Iran, Syria etc. for exemple USA have problem with Iran. Poland have not. Another Poland: have a very big credit of trust and sympathy in Iraq. Before the war, before the polish occupation of Iraq.
Polish firms buildt hospitals, roads etc. Now what? Trust is gone with contracts and what we have for that? 5 min. talk beetwen polish PM an US president.

It's going to get to you eventually. Appeasement is like giving meat to a hungry tiger. It will be hungry again when you run out of meat. I would say you're a coward, because you are, but you'll just end up calling America and Bush all nazis for making a decisive stand in Iraq.

If America wanted the oil, why are we allies with Israel? We could just turn on Israel and Iran would give us all the oil we want.

If America wanted the oil,

no just bush wants it. but in the post, which is lost now, it shows in fact that
Osama basically became angry over the U.S> joining in a 200 billion dollar
project, so we stepped on his land and desecrated it. I will try to find this
again. interesting reading.

Yes I know Lonestranger (brother) I wont keep going with this. I know this is
not like me, but I dont get to join in all discussions Re: Politics .

I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.
