CELTIC star Artur Boruc was hailed a hero last night after rescuing a pregnant Pole from racist thugs.

The brave goalie saved Magda Kucko, 27, who is due to give birth within days, after she was attacked by three louts and their vicious Doberman dogs.

Last night, she said: "Artur is a very brave man, a hero. I cannot bear to think what might have happened if he had not been there for us. We will never forget his courage."

yes, we're all proud of Artur Boruc, but what's the meaning of the title of this article? 'up yours' or something? i find it stupid. you should know that at the same time court in Warsow sentenced a few ********* who had bitten up Russian diplomats' children in our ugly capital some time ago. same thing,really, isn't it?

I totally agree with you Glowa. It's easy to pick out isolated incidents from the news, the thing is this sort of thing happens all over the world regardless of race and beliefs. It's so bloody easy to throw in the racist card, and to be honest this sort of negativity is quite boring now. And good morning to you all..

Boruc surname, sound Slavic to me BDW. Of course, I don`t insist that he is Slav or of Slavic origin. It was just BDW comment
