Registering to vote in the Polish elections

I can't bear the joke that Polish politics has become any longer and I want to register to vote in the Polish elections and start doing my bit. Does anyone know how I go about doing that? I got my Polish passport a year ago through the embassy in London (I was born there, but both parents were born in Poland) and have been living in Poland for 2 years now but am not 'zameldowana' here. Does anyone know where/how/with whom do I need to register as a voter? I'm hoping that someone can help as I suspect my only other option is to join the 2km queue outside the Polish consulate in London and wait for one of the 3 ladies working there to have time to see me...

do you speak Polish? because you will need it to talk to the people in Urząd Miasta - they don't speak foreign languages too often. do you also have Polish ID card? or only passport? I do speak Polish and I'll give the Urzad Miejski a go next week. And no, the twins are definitely NOT an option for me...

I vote for civic platform, because I have similar view on economy, foregin affairs, law.
