I would have thought that it is quite difficult for Polish people to buy houses now in England as prices have gone through the roof. Had the Polish come ten years ago it would have been a different strory, of course.

Wrong again Michal, Polish family who are renting a house in my street, are now hoping to buy the house over the road, they have both been working hard and saving for the past three years. But then I talk to my neighbours, I don't spy on them in Tescos

nice one daisy :)

Mind you Michal might be employed by a Market Research Company to spy on all the poor Poles.........nahhhhhhh I don't think so but it was just a thought. I went to a supermarket (out of my area) and you have to put a pound coin in the trolley, what a cheek..then you hve to wheel it all the way back to get your pound back......

trolley pushers wouldn't have a job round here if they did that and i can tell you no one would shop here if we had to put a pound in cos we are lazy 'people' ROFL. We sometimes take our trolleys back. The way we see it is , we provide employment :)

hehehe :)

all the supermarkets are like that were I live. I've actually got a little trolley token on a key ring from a breast cancer charity, I keep clipped to my bag, it saves me looking for a £ coin in my purse.

It is kind of you to provide emplyment for people like Michal though

Yes.

I can't believe people put a quid in :) Then you don't employ retired people to collect the trolleys. I leave mine usually next to the car..........I was shocked when I had to wheel it back at the other place...........<big grin> We're spoilt around here, it's true. Wonder what Tesco's in Guildford is like ?

I had to be shown what to do when I was tugging at the trolleys and they wouldn't move. This likkle old lady showed me.......so now I know what to do........:)

no it's true, I used to walk to work on a Monday morning and the place would be littered with trolleys, in the river and the canal, I've even seen one half way up a tree and once on the roof of a 3 story building. I think the last 2 must have been Marines, they get up to all sorts when they're drunk

- What is it all about? Why have you posted all this, Ruda Slaska?

Did ola really write: 'We dont want foreigners in England buying out our homes, go home Polish GO HOME and leave us alone. And dont tell me I didnt want you, English dont want you here bloody commies'?

Where did she allegedly write this? Give the title of the post.

Or maybe she never wrote that, and you have just misrepresented her other statement?

Is there really any land left to buy??

Our lakes even dwarf youre country

Superior 82,414 km
Michigan 58,016 km
Ontaio 18,529 km
Huron 59,596 km
Erie 25,745 km

England 130,395 km....US 9,629,091 km

Where do you fit 51,000,000 people??

Sounds a bit over crowded

you do get your pound back after use. Anyway, there was another class of Polish people who came to this country fifteen years ago who had a good level of education and got sponsors to work here and have stayed on. The new class of army dodgers is a new class that has only sprung up in the last few years. I do not have to listen in to their conversations anyway just turn on Polonia. In fact I came home the other day after work and the television was on in the kitchen so I began to listen to what was going on and it was an interesting programme about lost people and the public were asked to help find these people. I never listen to Polish much these days and it took my ears a few minutes to acclimatize before I could understand every word being said but I thought to myself 'God what an awful language' a simplified Russian with latin script. I for one could never return to Poland.

well those group of people shall remain nameless, but its not rocket science :)

P.S. it is so ironic i'm laughing :):):):)

There is a huge difference between when someone lives and works in a country and in the same country he buys a home, flat with the money he earned working in that country and making money in rich country and pushing prices up adding anything to poorer country economy except taking away familys chances to have their own home. If you cant see the difference the discussion is pointless.

There should be very stricted rules in Poland when it comes to buying property - you live here AND work here at least three years and after that you can buy a property, no earlier. Polish people in Britain do exactly that, they work there, spend their money there, live and buy property to live in, not in order to speculate. And that is the way it should be.

I say no speculations in polish property market because it is ruining polish peoples lives who have to leave their country because it is getting too expensive to live in.

PS I see no problem in foreigners who live AND work in Poland and buy their flats, homes here, that is okay but I stated it so many times before that you must be really not very bright that you didnt get what I mean yet.

But Ola another thing i find ironic, you don't want foreigners to invest in Polish property but hay look everybody is leaving Poland, soon Poland is going to be an empty space on the map, you never no maybe Germany and Russia can start again where they left of except this time there are no Polish people to butcher so they'll have to take it out on each other

And what is the point of your post except being ironic and rude? You foreign investors have your own guilty in makin Poland empty, now and before, so stop being sarcastic towards the country in front of which you should feel guilty.

foreign investors feel no guilt - without us poland would be moving more slowly than it is now... someone has to pull the country up to standard and it sure aint gonna be people like you
