Zakopane skiing apartments - Sell or Rent??

mojosworking   Jul 10, 07, 10:08 /  #
I have skiing apartments finishing construction in the next few weeks in Zakopane. Do you think it is a sellers market or a buyers market? Is the rental market as strong as people say? Also I will be in Krakow for a long weekend soon...if any young ladies would like to meet up and show me the city....let me know.

Is it a new construction? If you invested a lot of money and can find a way to rent them, it would probably be a good idea to rent them..

The only problem that I can see with renting them out is to find reliable people to maintain it, i.e. cleaning it between guests along with upkeep of the place. My brother pulled out of buying a place there to rent it out for this reason. If you can find someone then great; sit on it for a couple of years and then sell. Zakopane is becoming more and more popular each year with foreign people, so much so that we don’t go skiing there anymore and go to Slovakia.

Maybe a timeshare would be better than renting to too many people. This way they'd have a little more respect for it and keep it clean.
