I posted a thread yesterday which looks like it's been deleted because of the boring title :-{ I know I got a few answers so wanted to thank people for their help.
I was asking how to approach a Polish lady who's son has just started at my sons school. I decided to go ahead and write her a short note introducing myself and my son and offering help in getting around and friendship if she would like. She seemed happy and this morning she handed me a note back saying she would like it very much and asked to meet for coffee. So, once again to all who answered my post, thank you. I'm def going to put my all into learning Polish, and am glad I have found this site to help me to communicate and learn about this lady's country and culture.

Ahh, thats a lovely thing to do! What a kind gesture.

As they say do unto others... (something noimmigration has yet to learn!)

If I ever moved to another country I would be extremely grateful if someone showed me such kindness as this.
