it seems as those of you who are asking this question are people living in an almost white area/country/..........here in london we was asking this same question 30 yrs ago.....now its the norm and its 100% accepted over here...its normal as it is normal to brush your teeth in the morning :-)

it may works, but ppl in mixed marriage must work harder. there are girls from europe who marry arabs, without any preparation, i mean, they know NOTHING about that culture, how should they behave, what shoudl they expect. 'because i fell in love'. after some time differences start to pinch. . and lack of knowledge appears to be reason to divorce. but if we try to find out as much as possible about our future - let s say- arab, moslem husband, if we accept his way of life, if we know what should we be ready for in relationship with him-then it should work!

one of the main reasons why i have mention this is due to the fact that, two different cultures have different values and ways of doing things.some people have we brought up in the way their parent expect them to be. thats why most people stick with thier own values and race. its like a islamic person dating a person african. you rarely see that happening

"its like a islamic person dating a person african." Erm.....I think many African people are followers of the Islam faith. Not quite sure what you mean in this respect. Marrying someone from a different culture and staying married is really difficult, so many problems to deal with that sometimes you can get quite worn out with it all and then the marriage disintegrates over time because of this. It's hard !! Love doesn't always conquer all, you just think it will when you first fall in love and everything is wonderful at the beginning. :(

well ok, african people is not a good example but what about a person from pakistan dating a person from india. most people who come from india are usually sikhs or hindu and people who come from pakistan usually follow the islamic values. in both of these cultures, it is a mortal sin for a person with different faith do get married. you hear the news all time, families killing families. even if for example two different people from both theses above cultues abandon thier families, relationship still tend to be hard and usually end up in a divorce. I personally believe people should love thier partners for who thier are , but for some people love involve thier culture. How many chistian and musliim people see have a sucessul wedding? my opinion No agree or not share your thoughs

I'm sure the most difficult is getting past the family. You'd just have to live on neutral ground. Love can change anything including religion. Many people convert. It can work if you work it.
