Get a perfume gift set, they are elegant and have great options. There are nice parfume sampler sets, at like victoria's secret. I work there and know this is a great go-to option for men because it's easy and the label is very recognizable and women are always smelling and loving the parfumes. Or think of the perfume she's like and get a lotion/frangrance gift set. Also if you can be real casual, go shopping at a department store with parfumes and go through the section and act curious smelling things, she'll usually follow most (most women can't avoid testing the parfumes!) and find a couple she really likes.
