Rules for dating Polish girls

As this always seems to be a hot topic I thought I would pass on this information which I found on another site.

I didn't realise there were so MANY rules. I think I'd only get to #5 before begging for sex !!!

0. Never date more than one girl. Such misbehavior will be exposed sooner or later and no self-respecting woman will let you get away with it.

1. Polish girls like self-confident but not overconfident men. So, men entrust their masculinity to cars, clothes, and accessories are no longer a catch.

2. Think beyond material needs. A girl appreciates lunch or dinner, but she equally enjoys bike rides or reading a book together.

3. Don’t be ashamed of your girlfriend before your friends. She will sense it immediately and will not forget it easily.

4. Compromise. You won't get far if you stick with your rules especially if your partner does the same. Open conversation may be very helpful in solving problems.

5. Generally, Polish women despise bragging, the "American way" of evaluating oneself. Being modest pays off when others loose points due to their wild imagination and an excessive self-esteem.

.........
.............

All rules (30 total) can be found at PolishMarriage.

My self-esteem is too low so it's hard to get a girl I want (especially Polish one...). Other nations seem to be a little easier ....

Also, I would remove the word "bike" from the above sentence to make it more accurate...

I would just leave "ride" - the rest depends on your imagination.. :)

It's funny or interesting - depends who's watching it. "The flirting course" or how to get any woman you want.

Don't know if that's gonna work (I would need it for sure though) - kursuwodzenia.pl/nauka_nie_zalogowany.html - click on the "Uruchom" icon [in Polish].

Care to elaborate...or is your brain not capable of doing that?

If you're a guy and you want to date in Poland...

Just wave your non-Polish passport and a wadge of dollars, or better still, euro or pounds. In the top night clubs of Warsaw I've seen bald, fat English guys dating the most gorgeous chicks you can imagine - the most beautiful in the entire club, real stunners, and some of the women here are outrageously pretty...

A sense of humour helps too. Polish men don't have a sense of humour; so any westerner with humour is an instant winner. Just smile at them. Polish women are not used to men smiling. It's about as common in Poland as a Microsoft admitting that their software is crap

.

What an utter load of crap!
If you want a girl here, you need to date a few at a time, to find one that is at least a little normal. Polish girls are mostly looking for long term partners, not for fun... Then there's the problem that very few young women here have their own flats... They mostly live with their parents.

Most of the women here are so screwed up it's unreal (almost as screwed up as Polish men, who are much, much worse....!)

OK, but what's your point? If you don't like dating girls (or a particular girl), why don't you break up with her? Probably you get even more than you have to "sacrifice" and that's the reason.

That's very stereotypical - the "American Way" comment. I've seen Brits I've worked with in the past (automotive industry), out-brag Americans to the point of being ridiculous. They talked about everything from the town they lived in, to places they've been on "holiday," to how much they can drink, to their local or favorite football club, to how much money they make... shall I continue? ...

I've seen Polish men do this too... Friday or Saturday night at the club, to pay a measly $2 or $5 entrance fee, they have to pull out a wad of money (their entire pay for the week, no doubt), and hand the doorman a $50 or $100 to pay that tiny fee, making sure anyone within a 30 foot radius sees all the money they have. Again, ridiculous.

This isn't an "American" thing. Oh, I did it too occasionaly when I was younger, but the fact that you have a penis and too much testosterone coursing through your system makes you feel you need to do this.

No, it's not an ethnic thing; it a maturity thing.

Ok, omit the "non-polish passport" part, and you can successfully replace the word "Warsaw" with "London", "Paris", "Berlin", "New York", etc...

For me it's obvious that since I'm asking a girl out on a date it's my responsibility to pay for it. It's just a part of our culture. If you don’t like it, don’t date polish girls.

You are considered to be a gentlemen if you do ... i mean if you ask a girl on a date doesn't it make sense... if she asks you then i mean if i asked a guy to go out for dinner with me then i would pay but that's a different story

i'm from Canada and came to PL to visit my GF. i rented a mieszkanie for the month and i paid for everything:food, entertainment, you name it. her attitude changed when i turned off the money tap.

back in Canada....the bf and gf split the cost of things. we treat eachother.

I'm not bitter.....I live in PL now and just wanted to share what happens back home.
