Poles playing North american sports in present day, how many do you know, lets make a list :D

NFL

Paul Posluszny - 1984 - born in United States, parents are Polish (drafted by Buffalo Bills, going to play this season)
over the top tackle -

interview before NFL combine -

Sebastian Janikowski
- 1978 - born in Poland, use to play for the Polish u17 soccer team before moving to the United States....interesting story actually, and although he gets into a little more legal trouble than i would like, he is still one of our own :D

NHL

Mike Komisarek - 1982 - Born in United States, parents from Poland
interview with family -
some big hits -

Wojtek Wolski - 1986 - born in Poland, raised in Canada
nice shootout goal - [youtube=http://youtube.com/watch?v=8xTkWfbhpFo]

interview - click this link and type in Wolski in the search bar right below "BROWSE ALL SHOWS" broadband.tsn.ca/tsn

MLS

Danny Szetela - sadly i dont have any media on him, plays for the Crew, well he did, he's in the reserves now....

----------------------------------------------------------------

Obviously there are many more Polish heritage athletes in the NFL, NHL, etc.... you can tell by the surnames on the players lists, but i am unsure of how Polish they are.... I mean even Gretzky is part Polish right, but he is more Canadian in a sense, so i didn't put him down....same with guys like Bruce Gradkowski (quarter back for the bucs in the NFL) who is 25 percent Polish and the rest Italian.....

anyways, if you have anymore media on Polish athletes in the states, post away.....I know there is some in baseball, but its not a sport i follow really so i dont know any names off heart....

some of our lads have really done well for themselves since coming over, just something to look at cheers....
