oh dear, see ive unwittingly started a right to wear the veil debate.. Razz is right, there are many educated Muslim women who choose to wear the veil, not because it is enforced upon them by their menfolk..so it should not be viewed as a symbol of oppression.. but of course every Muslim country and culture is different as are the types of veils worn, so it is dangerous to generalise.. in some countries it is compulsory. blah, blah, blah..............

I was raised Catholic, can't say i have any faith myself though. I'm sure if some people find religion comforting that's fine. I'm not one of them..

For me that reads' I don't need any religion'. We all need a crutch in life, something that supports us in difficult moments. For me it's my family and friends. I respect the part that religion plays in others' lives. I don't respect having their beliefs forced down my throat.

Just say no to zealots.

Good then ... but I hope you also will not judge people over religion.

... with such determination... even if there was only ONE POLISH WOMAN!! left in this world... you would have 80% chances of being with her.

All the very best. ... I dont have a doubt... go ahead.

religions need to do some changes

I agree with you.

But I kind of think that they do change with time. Afterall it is the rule of nature isnt it? We all change.

One upon a time man had big body hair. Big teeth. Money like face. A totally different appearence. Then slowly our bodies changed... we became more evolved. Now we stand here... and I will not be surprised (please no racist comment on this) if actually people evolve further to become one single race. And I think people will accept that too as they have accepted the present condition of their bodies.

A child takes birth. His body changes with time...the face changes... every aspect grows and decays.

Although, I call these changes as evolution! I think, people dont really change, but their are becoming more actual. We as humans are always growing into something more complete, both mentally, physically and spiritually. We are blossoming...

A caterpillar also evolves into a butterfly.... and a bud blossoms to a rose. No one can stop this progress... progress is the journey of man and all creations of God.

So religion surely grows too.

Abraham came...Moses came, Jesus came... all brough new and more modern laws (relative to their time of revealation). If you study Islam, then it was quite a modern religion in its own time (although it is clearly outdated laws now, and very badly handled by its believers. This religion has lost its charm... perhaps because all its laws are not compatible with the modern world).

However, I am studying Baha'i reigion now. I am a free minded person, and I study religions. Baha'i religion seems to have many answers to alot of questions, and it is logical...

here is a link: bahai.org.pl
also: bahai.org

It gives a good explanation about the evolution of religion and laws from God. About how it is rhytmic and systematic, and also progressive.

If you are interested about prophecies, please note: bci.org/prophecy-fulfilled

Studying with an open heart and an open mind is good. Increases knowledge.

Anyways...you made a very intelligent comment espana
