Poland in September-October

Hi i need advice...I'm going to Poland Sep.12 and will be staying for a month...this is my first time going there and I was wonderin how the weather is around Sept. and Oct.? also how much is it customary to tip when in a Polish restaurant?

If you feel the service is worth a tip :) I always tip if well deserved.

Here It's usually 0%.

Don't believe that you have to tip, (unlike the US where you might get a bullet through your head if you don't) Tiping is a American thing.
I tip if the service and food was good.

sometimes depends on how much you have to drink (lol) I take the point that tipping is linked to wages, however the food and drinks are still pretty expensive in the better eating places.
I do believe you pay enough, ie you pay for a glass of water and pay to have your bottle of wine opened.

Lef, you are right. My better tips are usually reserved for the places that are not so expensive, but the service is still exceptional. The staff at expensive restaurants probably aren't going hungry.

That's good of you. I think the opposite is more often the case.....undertipping.

For exceptionally poor service, I have left nic. Don't feel great about it, but the point needs to be made sometimes....

Well for me tipping is all about the service after all its not the poor waiters fault if the chief has dropped rat in your soup, i like to think that when i tip its for good service with a smile and that the money i tip goes into the pocket of those who are dealing face to face with the customers
