I'll be in Warsaw in December, during the week, Tues, Wed, Thur. What bars, clubs, etc do you guys recommend?
I've read some reviews on the web, but was looking for some first-hand recommendations.
I'm only there for a few days so I wan to use my time wisely.
Also, is there anything that I should know, as far as customs, etiquette, etc, that might be confusing to me while I'm out on the town.

If you can get in go to Cinnamon. (Pretty snobby)
Another must visit is a place called Klubo Kawiarnia. (Good crowd that like to party)
Depending on your age you may also want to visit Enclava (a little older crowd)

Good luck and have fun

My favourites are:

Organza
Bar Nobo

and for a good chin wag with ex pats bar Below

As for customs just be very nice to the door staff, have a good time without being boorish,

Do not go to Cinammon. There is nothing there to like, even waitresses are dressed like secretaries. I was very dissapointed. Nothing to compare with USA, Canada or Saudi Arabia...

note that being underdressed will get you refused entry into most clubs in the center. other than that no special ettiquette tips need be mentioned, Polish clubs are just like anywhere else.

I second the vote for Klubokawiarnia, unique Polish socialist-realist decor, good music, and a good crowd. Cinnamon has been the yuppie hangout of choice for a while now, Organza isn't so bad and there are plenty of pubs and clubs up and down the little street its on (ul. Sienkiewicza), which makes it a good place as any to start out..

Thanks for the info everybody.
A few have mentioned the dress code thing and getting turned away at the door. What should one wear to get into these places? I'm not into wearing extremely dressy clothing for a night of partying. Are jeans and a nice shirt OK?
Also, I'm from the U.S., not Poland, so will this get me turned away at the door?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Best get to your chosen venue earlier rather than later to ensure entry, jeans and a shirt will be fine but the bouncers on the doors generally favour regulars over strangers here. As mentioned Klubokawiarnia is a must, expecially if your here midweek.

Organza is nice but small and crowded.
I've never been to Klubokawiarnia, but I've heard it's OK.
I'd recommend Enklawa. It's nice.
Well, all depends how old are you and what kind of music you prefer.

adjective [before noun]
(especially of a building) small but attractive and fashionable:

It's a bit of a joke over here. Estate agents (realtors) used to use it a lot to describe pokey little apartments where you would have problems fitting yourself in let alone any furniture as 'compact and bijou'.

My apartment was within staggering distance of Nobo when I was out there. In the winter it was Nobo or the tortilla factory to avoid frostbite.
