Hey Gloios are you looking for Polish restaurants??

I like Angelina`s 3744 N. Milwaukee 773 736-1186
its small but has authentic Polish food

If you like buffets the Jolly Inn 6501 Irving pk 773 736-7606
doesnt sound Polish but it is

to eat at Bobak's Restaurant,

On the southside really popular place

crablegs you gotta check out my favorite BOB CHINNS!!!

Really cool place famous for thier Mai tai`s in wheeling,IL
a little bit of a drive from the city

Some clubs:
Jedynka.com the most popular Polish club.. Diversey/Cicero

Accent cafe 700 N. River Mt. Prospect,IL 847 298-2233
gets a good crowd on the weekends
You can go there after Bob Chinns fairly close to eachother.

Navy pier my favorite place, fireworks on Wed and Sat
Beer garden, live music, restaurants, shops

Dicks last resort on Illinois ave walking distance from pier.

Theres alot of places on Rush st or Clark and Ontario area

Slesz - Thank your for all the feedback! Definitely looking for Polish places to eat.

The beer garden on the pier - I was concerned this was mostly tourist and not many people from Chicago.

close to a L stations

Aha the L station rules is it?
No stops with an L except on Sundays unless there is a Test Match in it's 5th day.

<inhales through teeth>

You're hardcore. I've never seen that regulation invoked in a game before. Ok, well i'm going to have to cut off your perpendiculars in order to protect myself from being blocked from getting back into Zone 1.

Tottenham Hale.

Any of these places close to a L stations?

Not really within walking distance youll have to take a short bus trip

I dont know about Bobaks it on the Southside I dont get down there much

If your going to be downtown take the Blue line towards O`hare

Either get off at Belmont and take the bus west , Angelina`s is on the Corner of
Belmont/Milwaukee Czerwone Jablusko isnt too far down on Milwaukee
from there.

Or get off on Harlem and head South Old Warsaw is at Harlem/Lawrence
I heard the food has improved latley (Buffet style)

The Jolly Inn is on Irving Pk about a 1/2 mile East of Harlem
Wallys Supermarket is next door all Polish... jollyinn.com You can take Irving bus to it also....
Theres a Polish rest right on Harlem before Foster and I cant think of the name now
Thats about 5 blocks from the train

transitchicago.com

polskiinternet.com has a list of restaurants in Chicago

I did not see this type of a band at Taste of Polonia last year. It was very disappointing. I love to listen to this lively music.

Hopefully they will have one this year ! :)

the is a local band called [polkaboy.com] - polkaboy who are most excellent. i am pretty sure none of the numerous members are polish but this town has a very deep german heritage so it's natural that there would be at least one polka band here. unfortunately i think that is the only one in the city. click the link and check out the vid. they are awesome.. it's always a ball. :)
