Medical Student Studying in Wroclaw

I am a medical student in Russia and i am currently seeking a transfer to a medical school in Wroclaw. i will like to know about the medical school? the hostel accommodation? shopping for sneakers eg nike, adidas, reeboks? fitness centers in Wroclaw and in general, life in Wroclaw.

I think overall the level of studies are the same in Poland and Russia. Hostel accomodation - shouldn't be a problem, but be ready to pay a good amount if you want good condition and near the center. Brand clothes or shoes - plenty of stores with Nike, Adidas, Reebok, and other Levi's jeans. But sort of expensive (compared to the US at least). Fitness centers - enough, both swimming pools, tennis courts, whatever you need.

but is the medical university in wroclaw good? people over here in russia always talk about how good medical universities in poland are.

Better is the university in Poznan.It has new medical school and tries to get foreign students.I suppose maybe they will prepare even for USMLE exams to work in USA.American students prefer it anyway all over universities in Eastern Europe.I think in Russia you can bribe and get degree but this does not happen anymore in Poland.I have also heard that americans recruit doctors from Eastern Europe,so in my opinion in order to have some access there it is better to study in Poznan.Then take the USMLE exams,specialize in USA and get back to Russia to work in high class private clinic.(american doctors work there too).
