Where would be best to set up an office in Poland?

Nowadays, the elegant old market square in the city center, once the site of a few scruffy museums, is lined with designer shops, sushi bars and restaurants. Companies from LG Philips (LCD screens) to Google (service support) have poured $5 billion into the local economy in the past five years, creating 200,000 jobs in a city of just 650,000. The mayor's office reviewed 560 investment projects last year alone. Since 2002, unemployment dropped from 14% to under 5%. Mayor Rafal Dutkiewicz credits low production costs, a good location near the autobahns to Western Europe and a deep pool of educated young workers: local universities graduate 24,000 students each year.

I'm looking to set up an office in Poland, and will be initially employing 4 people, perhaps up to a hundred over time. Where would be a good place to set up? The work is for people who would work as technical authors, requiring excellent English. Use of Business and IT vocabulary would be important. Also if you are a technical author or are suitable for this role of doing the research and then applying this to create first class documentation please let me know.

Wroclaw would be a good choice as it has a large student population and great uni's. A lovely city also.

In Gdansk there is very good technical university.

Gdansk would be a good choice. There's Gdansk University, and Gdansk University of Technical. Plus, it's much cheaper to run a business in Gdansk than in Warsaw or Krakow. Krakow is the bast place and dont lisin to people that tells You Wroclaw. Krakow has the biggest schools and the most students.

Generally Warsaw (most expensive), Wroclaw, Cracow, Poznan or Gdansk are the places. I personally recommend you Gdansk ;) Lots of new IT establishment recently here.

I also recommend Wroclaw. That's the fastest develope city in the Europe, specially in technical, electronics and IT scoupe. There are good technical universities as well. I'm sure that Wroclaw will be perfect choice ! Is it possible to find somewhere some job ads of your company? I'm looking for a job currently, and I'm wonder waht kind of people you will looking for for your team. ~Mag
