Civil Wedding in Poland - what should a bride wear? listentosylvia Sep 12, 2008, 12:45pm / #1I'm getting married next month in Gdansk. What do you think should I wear? Do Polish girls just wear ordinary dresses or like a business suit? Suits are boring and even if it's just a civil wedding, it's still a wedding, isn't it? Yes, it is a civil wedding ceremony.Girls should at least buy a proper white dress. Back in my country, it is more appropriate to wear something white - a simple white dress "maybe without" the bouquet but definitely not a full-length bridal gown.joepilsudski Sep 12, 2008, 06:31pm / #2listentosylvia:I'm getting married next month in Gdansk.
