British bus drivers in Poland (documentary)

Hello

I am a researcher at a TV production company based in London. I am currently doing some research for a potential TV documentary about British people leaving the UK to work in Poland.

There was an article which appeared in the British press about a man called Paul Brannan who has moved to Zywiec where he now works as a bus driver. I am interested to see if there are other cases like this.

If you are a British bus driver working in Poland/planning to move to Poland or know someone who is, I'd love to hear from you. I am in the initial stages of developing ideas for a potential programme and so if you would be happy to talk to me, it would be for research purposes only and conversations would be in strictest confidence.

Thank you!

Dear Haruka

I received your email through PKS Żywiec. I've already been on TV twice in Poland and two more things will be before xmas. I also spoke to BBC world service but declined more TV. I'm not really interested in any more TV

Dear Paul,

Thank you very much for replying to my post. I appreciate that you are not interested in taking part in any more TV projects. I was just wondering if you knew of any other British bus drivers who have moved to work in Poland like yourself, or if you are a unique case. Thanks for your help.

Is there any compensation for time or other incentives for taking part in the program?

Thank you for your post. At this stage, we cannot offer any kind of incentive for taking part in the programme. If you are a British bus driver working in Poland/thinking of moving to Poland, or know someone who is, it would be great if we could have a quick chat on the phone. I can be contacted on h.kawaguchi@mavericktv.co.uk or by phone on +44 (0)20 7874 6662. Thank you for your interest!

What a tempting prospect! You make a TV program and sell it for lots of money while the person who makes it possible for you to have a program to sell gets nothing. Where do I sign up for that?
