How much is road tax in poland??

how much do you pay for road tax in poland for a 2 litre engine? anyone can help me?

SO what they pay every year? i am sure thye pay come kind of licence to be able to drive the car in the street?

You MUST buy the insurance and there's a huge tax included in the price of fuel.

yep, officialy road trax is included in fuel price, but the insurance costs depend (or at least they did depend for years) also on the "litra¿" (volume of the engine in litres, I don't know the proper English word)

so if i pay insurance i will have everything ready? if i understood well. i just need to pay insurance and that is all. ok then thanks guys. so compared to malta having a car in poland is realy cheap. in malta we pay for a 1.4 litre engine around 600zl tax and insurance around 2000zl every year for just 3rd part fire and theft

I'm not sure how much you pay insurance in Poland, there are 2 main kinds:
OC (odpowidzialno¶æ cywilna) - obligatory (personal liability). Even without any accidents, when the Police stop you and you don't have it, you're in troubles.
AC (autocasco) - not obligatory, covers your expenses in case you did the damage to your own car or when it gets stolen/broken. It used to be 10% (each year) of the car's value. Of course most drivers, who didn't have accidents, have reductions, even up to 60% (so you pay only 4% of the car'svalue), but I'm afraid you may have troubles with receiving such reductions, ask other foreigners in Poland.

But do you know if i can register it on my name here in Poland. I still do not have residence card, but as i asaid i am EU citizen. Do you suggest I should put it on my girlfriend's name?

I don't think you can register a car in Poland if you don't have the proof of your residence there.
