Residency in Europe for Polish-American - Question

If someone has dual citizenship (Polish and American), what countries are they allowed to work in/live in, without having to apply for any type of visa's, sponsorship, etc.?

I would assume that person could work in the US and the EU, but I don't know for sure.

is germany part of the EU? (you don't need to answer that, i know the answer but you must not)

Well, of course germany is part of the eu. But I have heard that you need some type of sponsorship to work there or something like that. I would like to know the countries (atleast in Europe) for which you do not need any type of paperwork (as far as visa's or sponsorships are concerned.

Ok, because when Bulgaria and Romainia joined in 2007. I believe the EU set some legislation in place that restricted the countries BG and RO citicens could enter for work purposes. I was wondering if Polish citizens have any such restriction put in place on them.

I think you need some paper work to work there... in one or two years time it will be normal in Germany like in most of EU countries ... now you need some paper work to work there ... you don't need visa or something like that to go there.

they can't buy land we can't work there. simple in short period of time it will change

Germany hasn't opened its borders to ALL Poles but, they have opened it to engineers.

The countries that have for sure opened their borders are UK, Ireland, Holland and Denmark. Finland, Spain and Portugal are thinking about it. This is all under your Polish passport. Under your yank passport for sure you would have to apply for some sort of Visa after 6 months.

Just change the countries in the dropdowns for the appropriate country(ies) you are looking for info on.
