Street racing in Lodz

However, news reaches us that police in Lodz, Poland's second city, plan to cordon off sections of the town at night to allow street racers to compete without speed limits. http://www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/2655/ Police going to allow street races!

Thread attached on merging: Street Racing in Lodz? I saw a documentary the other night about street racing in Lodz, Is this true and does it actually happen? I'm talking about the police organised events as I quite fancy going to watch. Any ideas how i can find out more?
