(a smaller grocery store [sklep spożywczy] might not be self-service and you're probably not up to ordering from the person behind the counter) Where can I purchase a bottle of wine to take with me.(This is assuming grocerie stores don't sell wine) Supermarkets sell wine self-service (but note you have to pay for wine or stronger alcohol at a special cash register) If you're buying other stuff you put the alcohol and receipt together with your other groceries. Smaller stores sell wine too but behind the counter and you have to ask for it. Where can I purchase tickets for parking? Gdzie można kupować bilet na parkowanie? (that's a wild guess, I don't drive in Poland) Where is the nearest doctor or hospital? Gdzie jest najbliższy szpital? (better to just ask for the hospital) Where is the nearest gas station? Gdzie jest najbliższa stacja benzynowa? Where is the nearest phone? Gdzie jest najbliższy telefon? (or 'automat'?) but these are hard to find anymore (and you have to buy a card first).
