Czesc Everyone,

Well im in a bit of hot water here...
Two years ago I lived in Krakow for a year. This is where i met my lovely polka and who is now my wife. Unfortunatly I was very stubborn and didnt focus on learning Polish. Now we live in Australia and thinking about returning to live in a few years?

I NEED TO BECOME FLUENT IN POLISH!!. Plus to make things worse, my (polish) mother inlaw is learning English! So i need to learn as fast as possible.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

I find it quiet difficult to study, not sure if i should do a course, private tutor, online lessons, download programs? I have used 'before you know it' which is quiet good. Does anyone have and sucessful ideas regarding learning this 'oh so hard' language????

hehe....it's gonna take time pal... :) but if you are really stubborn as you say, no problem there :) take it easy and step by step... if you hurry too much, you'll mess up everything... good luck...

tutor is good....computer programs works well...and your own inquiring may help...

Be born in Poland to Polish parents.

I would give a better answer, but the best I can come up with is the usual:

Try to meet Poles who can only really speak Polish (easier here in the UK than in Australia, I can be fairly certain).
Get a good book that goes through all the grammar.

Lots of links here to freely available learning resources on the Language Learning Links thread, hmm, LLL for short:
http://www.polishforums.com/polish_language_learning_links-17_8328_0.h tml
of which
h t t p://polish.slavic.pitt.edu/
is one of the best.

You might also see if you can buy an old Linguaphone Polish course - they concentrate on speaking the language. eBay is a good place to look (none there at the moment, but there have been three in thelast year that I spotted, bought one of them)

Then, lots of work! :)
