Saul Wahl’s story is one of the most intriguing of all the legendary stories concerning Polish Jewry. It is said that he occupied the throne of Poland for a single day, August 18, 1587. During his brief time serving as Polish royalty, he supposedly enacted numerous laws protecting the Jewish population of Poland. Nice and interesting legend.

I only wated to sugest that Poland have interesting history. Poland does have an interesting history, who can deny that? The American Constitution gives the right to bear arms. Sorry, but that is just wrong in my book.

America is in crisise as whole west... like always people like you try to prove that has something to do with Jewish bankers. Yes a lot of Jews are bankers... Poland is nice example of democracy superiority. In 1500s Poland was strong (Jews Protestants Catholics were living together) Later elites became stronger and system became weaker. (we are going back to world and stronger countries imposing their rules of game) going back to system ... something what used to work in 1500s later stoped to work because power was transfered form middle class to small group of people on peak and they were native Poles. 3rd may constituion was good idea but it was to late and enemies were to strong ... going back to USA ... they need reforms but whole idea good.

ski: zalweski is good name ... noble. As I know when you want to change your surname it is not possible to take: Radziwił, Zaleski etc... Wasn't Jackie Kennedy's sister married to a 'royal' Radziwill?...and I think that the Radziwills had a friend named Stasiu Koslowski who was a good friend of Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones.

I don't owe bank. :) I work for Polish bankers - Zaleski family (Polish immigrants good chrisitian people ;) ), 5th place of the richest people in France. They decided to build new bank in Poland. I help them :) You know Polish nobility tradtionaly had good relations with Jews ... all in all Jews were always colecting their taxes ;)

To avoid this legendary Jewish king ;) how it would be possible when Jews formed some military units in Polish up-rises. it is not true. esp, Polish nobility had close relationship with Jews...
