Hi there. Are there any Mac users here? What is your experience with finding/buying Apple products in PL?

If you're in a big city (e.g. Krakow, Warszawa) it's pretty easy to buy Apple products. There seem to be lots of mac users in Krakow where I am.

At my high school there were two computer labs, one with traditional PCs and another with MACs so I guess it shows somewhat that Polish teenagers have to learn about both types. Or maybe just my high schoool was good :)

I use a Mac (Irish, learning Polish) and I have found a lot of Polish Mac stuff on the internet, so there must be a lot of people in Poland developing stuff for Mac = lots of users.

Can you recommend or better yet share any software for learning Polish for the Mac?

Hey,

I bought a mac here in Poland at the Zlote Tarasy shopping mall. There are a few apples shops in Warsaw, the ones i know of are Zlote Tarasy, Galeria Mokotow and another one kind of near metro Politechnika.

Yes. You can find a free dictionary program here - it's vocabulary though small is expandable: hipercom.pl/en/eppe.html

Also, Rosetta Stone's software has a Mac version.

I use Rosetta Stone.

I went to the iSpot in Wrocław. Crazy expensive. My editing software was $1200 in the states, and zl5000 here. I thought it was a fluke but looking at Apple's Polish site its pretty expensive there as well.
