Thanksgiving Dinner in Krakow...

Two questions:

1) Does anyone know of any Thanksgiving expat get-togethers here in Krakow?

2) Since I doubt there are any "yes" answers to question #1, anyone got a suggestion for a restaurant I might be able to try in Krakow for something approximating an American-style Thanksgiving dinner?

I'm alone here in Krakow and miss my family a bit knowing that they're all getting together. Figure some food would do me good!

(Based on the replies to the thread about the guy wanting to take Thanksgiving day off from work, I'm guessing most people will say, "Shut up, we don't care about Thanksgiving here." A modest request, people. Hehe ;) )

Thank you very much for any suggestions you can offer!

Oh, and happy Thanksgiving, too!

I am very sorry for plugging my own place of work here. But Manzana on Ul. Miodowa in Kazimierz and Metropolitan just off the Main Square are doing Thanksgiving Dinner tonight. You are advised to give them a phone and book up in advance though. For contact information: manzana.com.pl

That's great! Thanks, Cardno & dxx. No need to feel bad about plugging where you work -- totally applicable! :)

I thought that. Basically the owner of Metro and Manzana is American and so he does the Thanksgiving thing. Roast Turkey and Pumpkin Pie tonight in both establishments. I had a taste of the Pie last night, it's bloody lovely!
