MORE than 50 million African workers are to be invited to Europe in a far-reaching secretive migration deal, the Daily Express can reveal today.

A controversial taxpayer-funded “job centre” opened in Mali this week is just the first step towards promoting “free movement of people in Africa and the EU”.

Brussels economists claim Britain and other EU states will “need” 56 million immigrant workers between them by 2050 to make up for the “demographic decline” due to falling birth rates and rising death rates across Europe.

what i don't get is how people are so ready to be duped into thinking that a lower population can't be a good thing. Cheaper housing, less stress on our infrastructure and lower long term medical funding. We just have one big hump to clear- once our generation deals with the deficit of workers vs old age pensioners then following generations will be laughing.

if they already have a job center over there then it is hapenning, jus waiting to know which party will ave the guts to declare it officially in their countries. coz our unemployment rate is high n it wont end by 2050.

Well, there are already many Africans studying medicine here. Kinda weird to think that so many Africans could be granted free movement whilst neighbouring European countries like Ukraine aren't entitled at present. Bizarre!

What we need are more slavic immigrants.A baby boom in slavic countries funded by the EU in order to get all the people of working age needed.

Foreigner4: what i don't get is how people are so ready to be duped into thinking that a lower population can't be a good thing. It goes against millennia old instincts I think, since all animal drives are about reproduction. The same with the humans, for thousands of years reproduction decided about the surviving of ones family genes but it was also was important to store fat for meager times...today people get only fat and stay fat. Times have changed but instincts and bodies haven't adapted to it yet. But our brains need to start to work soon or we are suffocating our world (or explode from fat, whatever comes first). It will become a sign of developed societies to have a lower population count, a highly educated and skilled work force and a green but high tech environment.

Exactly job market is closed to our neighbors and they want to let mostly (because I doubt that Christians would be favored, rather expect opposite) culturally different Africans whom will struggle to assimilate. In my opinion, this is about ideology, some interracial BS. Perhaps Central Committee in Brussels set special quota for black people in the EU that need to be accomplished till 2050 :)

Initiative originated in Europe. jbman: how do you expect them to develop They must learn on their own mistakes and analyze different specific solutions practiced in Europe or Asia. Of course Euro-American establishment may fool naive voters that they helped to establish democratic regimes in Africa and claim that in longer run they will succeed. While some shady deals would be realized in practice. However in longer run African wont be grateful.

It is the same principle.If you want to be a manager,you have to have manual workforce.If you want to be rich,you have to have others working for you.So they bring the black slaves to make the white slaves rich.(supposedely). The result is a general ugliness and a lot of bad infrastructure.

I like ur analogies to the Borg, Crow. Very apt and cunning. I often got strange reactions from Polish students when I said that resistance was FUTile. Now I know what fiut means, lol.
