knowing Russia's imperialistic appetite they would probably want to take over the whole Britain. I think that Irish in NI would have a problem with it too.

You could argue that we don't need it...after all it was a Scottish King who took over the English throne and made "great britain" as it is known for the past 300 years.

Given the amount of Scots in the Governement many English already think so !

If Scots want Independence all they have to do is vote for it.
The latest political trends make this a real prospect.

you should think about that as about trap.

You must understand that culture which pushed native languages from British islands isn`t European culture and not Celtic, that`s for sure. Too long foreigners wrote the history... and created `world of matrix`

If i follow your words i must conclude that Scots were overrun and then rewarded for staying loyal and even for defense of non-European culture. By `modern` terminology Scots would be declared as multicultural

just remember. For true multiculturalism you need to be free first and to have choice. When somebody come and force you to be multicultural is something else. It`s not cooperation between equal partners. It`s conquest. It was known as conquest in the beggining of time and it would be recognized as conquest till the end of time

Its hardly propaganda being spread. As you said they can vote themselves out as can Northern Ireland but they dont want to, and personally I think the struggle of such a small country trying to start afresh is hard pressed from such a big established country, look at what happened to Ireland when it became a republic. And Ive family and friends in both Scotland and NI and they have much the same point of view.

no matter all, no matter all chalanges and traps, authentic Irish and Scottish culture would survive

this way or another you have endure long enough. For that, i congrats to you
